Natural Sole Reflexology
Tracey Crowther, RGN, BSc (Hons), MBRA
Reflexology has been practised for centuries and has its roots in the ancient civilisations of Egypt, India and China.

Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy believed to stimulate the body's own natural healing response through precise massage of reflex points on the hands and feet. Reflexology is an holistic therapy which can be used alongside conventional medicine, but it should not be used as an alternative to seeking medical advice.

Visiting a Reflexologist may be an excellent way of mitigating some of the stresses of modern life as many of my clients report feeling incredibly relaxed after a treatment. The theory is Reflexology helps the body to restore its balance naturally and may contribute towards achieving a state of relaxation helping maintain optimum health and well-being.

Whilst Reflexology does not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe, many of my clients having treatments for problems such as undesirable menopausal symptoms, sinus problems, irregular/absent periods, fertility problems, back pain, anxiety and stress, report great benefits and notice improvements in their health. We are now beginning to see some research projects carried out with reflexology, however, as yet, the body of evidence is not large enough to make claims of clinical effectiveness.
